Influenza Pandemic Flu telecast was a HIT with Corbin Physicians & Nurses!!
Corbin Independent participated in a broadcast called Influenza Pandemic Flu. Susie Hart, Program Coordinator/Teacher at Corbin Independent invited two physicians and three nurses to the telecast. Health Education Coordinator, Marisa Greer quotes Our connection for the program was great....we had no major technical difficulties. The picture and sound were both excellent considering the program was live from California. Dr. Halbleib stated that he was unaware Corbin had the facilities/capabilities to hold such conferences he expressed an interest in future programs. Nurses in attendance said they really enjoyed the broadcast and it was an excellent program with very knowledgeable speakers. Dr. Lawson said it is excellent program and she would definitely come to another. She also commented on the excellent state of the facilities offered through the CenterNET room. She was very impressed the technology was within Corbin High School. With more notice, Ms. Hart feels they could have a great turnout for any program. I was very pleased with the presentation and hoping that we are able to offer more in the future.
